Your Mental Health

Everyone gets stressed sometimes in their lives. But when stress affects home, school, work, or relationships, people turn to their doctors or mental health providers for help.

Mental health providers help people manage symptoms such as sadness, mood swings, anxiety and irritability. Sometimes people may see a counselor, therapist or other mental health provider to learn how to manage stress. Doctors may also prescribe medications.

You Are Not Alone

If you have feelings that are standing in the way of leading the life you want, talk to your parents, a teacher, a school counselor or a mental health provider. It is critical that you learn about ways to manage your mental health so that you feel good about yourself.
